ISA Hamilton announces incoming 2016/2017 president: Dr. Kostas Apostolou

apostolouISA Hamilton is pleased that Dr. Konstaninos (Kostas) Apostolou from McMaster University’s Process Automation program will be our incoming 2016/2017 president.  Mr. Apostolou will be starting his two year term as president starting July 1, 2016.

Konstaninos joined the department of Chemical Engineering at McMaster University in 2004 first as a postdoctoral fellow and then as a research associate. He joined the Bachelor of Technology team in 2009 and has been teaching at McMaster since 2005.  Kostaninos is currently the program chair for the B.Tech. Process Automation program at McMaster University.

Dr. Apostolou has a B.A.Sc. in chemical engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloníki in Greece, and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota. Konstaninos’ research interest are in the area of computational fluid dynamics with emphasis on complex and multiphase flows on the micro scale.
