ISA Hamilton is pleased to announce that City of Guelph Water Services will be hosting a plant tour on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.
The tour will take place at the F.M. Woods Pumping Station in Guelph, Ontario. The facility consists of UV treatment, chlorine treatment, reservoirs and a booster pumping station, along with equipment for the SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system.
6:00pm – arrival at Woods
6:00-6:30pm – light dinner provided by ISA Hamilton
6:30-7:00pm – presentation about the facility
7:00-8:00pm – walking tour of the facility.
There is no cost to attend, but an RSVP is required. Interested attendees are required to RSVP to program@isahamilton.com by Friday Sept 21. On the night of the tour, please come to the front gate at 29 Waterworks Place, Guelph, Ontario, and someone will let you in. The gate attendant will be available from 5:30pm-6:15pm. No latecomers please.
Tour attendees are required to wear long pants and closed toe shoes. There will be a waiver that needs to be signed prior to the tour
Our tour host will be Graham Nasby, the Water SCADA & Security Specialist at City of Guelph Water Services. Graham is the co-chair of the ISA112 SCADA Systems Standards Committee, and a member of ISA Hamilton.
