ISA Hamilton was pleased to host our 2017 Golf Tournament on this past Friday May 26, 2017. Held at the Chippewa Creek Golf and Country Club, in Mount Hope Ontario, the tournament attracted some 64 automation professionals to the tee blocks. It was a cool and overcast day which made for great playing weather. We did have a bit of light rain but it was only during the last couple holes, and only affected the slower teams.
Played in the best ball scramble format, everyone had a great time. The winning foursome (with lowest score) was a team from Endress & Hauser with a score 8 under. The prize for “most honest golfers” went to the team from Mettler-Toledo with a score of +16. The longest drive prizes were won by Craig Soulsby and Ivan Romanow. The closest to the pin awards went to Michael Bovenkamp, Nic Timmers, and Lynn White. As usual, harly anyone was able keep playing with the pink ball until the end of the round! Only two of the sixteen were turned in, coming from Mettler Toledo and Thermo-Kinetics.
Thanks to everyone who came. Looking forward to seeing everyone next year!
