As we embark into a new session, it’s time for us to embark on the project to rebuilt our local ISA section. With the pandemic now (mostly) behind us, it’s time to take a look at who we are and what we would like to do as a group. I have heard loud and clear from our members that there is a desire to get back to local events, local speakers, a local golf tournament, and factory tours. Enough with the online events! Now let’s get to work.
I have been involved with ISA Hamilton as a volunteer in 2010, and I consider it to be a great honour to be elected into the role of Section President for 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. I’m pleased to announce that Nathan Terbrack has joined us as our incoming VP, and is on track to become our next section president. Nathan has presented a solid business plan for rebuilding our section over the next two years, and myself, Mike Bovenkamp and Kostas look forward to helping him with this plan. We are also now in a position to welcome additional volunteers to help with the section. Many hands make for light work!
Over the course of the next few months, Nate, Mike, Kostas and myself will be meeting to develop programming plans for the fall. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your ideas for getting our section going.
Covid-19 was a drag, but well all survived. Now its time to get back to what we all love doing.
In the coming months I invite you to get more involved with our section. You can keep up to date by visiting our website, reading our newsletter and by receiving our e-News. Want to get involved but don’t know where to start? Feel free to contact myself or any of the other section executive members to find out more about getting involved.
Warmest Regards,
Graham Nasby
President, 2022-2023
